Sunninghill
The straggling village of Sunninghill lies six miles from Windsor, in southeast Berkshire. The extensive parish included Cheapside, South Ascot and part of Ascot. It is on the main road from Wokingham to Staines. The soil is gravel and sand. Just under half the land was permanent grass, one tenth woodland and a very small part arable.
